Monday Morning.... 6/30

Genavie was happy when she came today and fell right asleep at 9am. She only slept for about 1/2 hour. Then she palyed with Briana & loved a little Dora doll we have the sits up and sings while her head moves back and forth. Genavie Loved Dora!!! Then right before lunch she fell a sleep after she had a bottle and slept for almost an hour. When she woke up - my friend had shown up with her little kids for a swiming/sprinkler party in the backyard. Genavie loved watching all the kids play outside, and giggled alot! Then we feed her and her mommy came not long after.

Genavie doing her snorting laugh she was doing all morning... we caught it for just a minute on video but she really wants the camera so it is hard to video tape her.

Friday June 27th

So... You might get sick of the same eating/lunch pictures everyday, but we really have fun feeding her. Plus today she slept a lot! So this is pretty much the highlight of her awake time :)

She REALLY likes the sweet potatoes - Prunes did not go over to well the other day, I think she is glad we went back to sweet potatoes!

As you can see... I would love to video her eating because I love putting the little videos on, but it just wasn't working.

Genavie had a major poopy diaper first thing in the morning and lets just say it was enough to change all clothing & wash it - plus we ended up bathing her since it was up to her shoulders.... She loved the bath tub & wasn't to sure why we would take her out. Then we dressed her in some of Briana's old clothes. She felt great after eating, pooping, and her bath - and played for a good long while. She didn't fall asleep until 11am and normally she always takes a nap at 9am - she was tuckered out! She slept for 2 1/2 hours! yes - hours! She normally sleeps only about 30min for us.
When Genevia came this morning she was "Happy & Bouncing" is what Andy said. So... everyday first thing Briana does is run to the couch and asks to hold her. I took Genavie over and put her on Briana's lap just like usually & Genavie started to cry and looked at me like - hold me, save me! So I picked her back up and then Briana looked at me and said "mom, her dad said she was bouncy and happy... what happened?" How do I tell a 5yr old that it is because she doesn't want you - she wants me! Oh... you can tell we miss a little baby being around and Genavie is getting a little more attention then sometimes she would like.

Wednesday... Watching Barney

I just saw this picture on my computer and thought I would put it on her blog so you could see it. Briana always wants Genavie by her - so I put her down by Briana & to my suprise --- SHE LOVED IT. Usually she doesn't like me to lay her down. I mean - she is a BIG kid now and can SIT :) but she got so excited and happy over Barney. It's funny how much the kids really do love that purple dinosaur.

Kaleb loving Genavie Monday afternoon

Kaleb has always hated babies - the crying totally scares him (Kaleb has Autism). Slowly he has decided that he likes Genavie and he will kiss her when he walks by or tickle her under her chin. Well about a month ago Kaleb started showing empathy - this is HUGE for a child with Autism. He is starting to care if someone is crying & wants to kiss them better - however he has only done this to Briana & me. So... Genavie was sitting up playing and started to cry... he came over to her and laid her down and started to kiss and hug her to make her happy. She stopped crying - and was wondering what was happening - why is this kid laying on me! But she puts up with him pretty good.

Lunch

I bought some baby sweet potatoes when I was at the store on Saturday and I couldn't wait to see if she would eat them. So I waited tell about noon when she was hungry - and... it took her a minute to catch on but then - she ATE it! My kids always liked sweet potatoes - and it looks like she does too.

You can see her eyes are red - she cried when they were gone but still gave a smile for the camera.

Do you think she wants more? I was trying to show that she ate it ALL - and she tried to get them the whole time :) She wanted more! Then I gave her a 6oz bottle she drank it all and still wanted more so I finally made two more ounces and she finished it off. 8oz & sweet potatoes! She was hungry! She wasn't even acting hungry when I thought to try...

Friday - June 20th

Cookie Anyone?

She is always reaching for our food - so I gave one to her... I hope she doesn't get sick from it. I don't think she actually ate too much.

Bowls... they can be the best toys! Check out the crumbs on her nose.

She was so HAPPY today! The super cute swimsuit, her chubby legs, and her smile while sitting in the pool would've made for the best pictures but my camera needs batteries and wouldn't work. darn... super cute little girl!

Monday June 16th

so... the kids were playing in the pool & I just couldn't resist so... we put took off her little cute pants and put her feet in - she liked it so much that we put her all the way in! So Cute!

June 5th

Can you believe we have to have her all bundled in June? it was a cold day! & I don't think she was feeling to good this day.

April 11th - the Swing!

Swing or Briana? which is better... I think she is bored of me when Briana goes to preschool. She is totally in love with Briana - she watches her every move.

How sweet is she!!!

We hadn't been babysitting her very long.... These are some of the first pictures I have of her. I remember LOVING this outfit on her & so I had to get my camera out to take a picture of her. I'm not good at taking a lot of pictures but I will try to take more of her for you.
